                Pondicherry Kidney Foundation, a Registered Public Charitable Trust Founded by Dr.K.Narayanan,                                              MD.,(Med.)DM(Nephro),DNB.(Nephro), Consultant Nephrologist and transplant physician, Kidney centre. Pondicherry , on September 12,2003, to provide Health care medical treatment and financial assistance to needy patients with kidney diseases.

                First of all kidney problems are not easily detected in time. And , even after they are detected , the treatment is expensive and not affordable by all. Given the high cost Renal Transplantation , only a minority affords it. Dialysis is also beyond the means of many. The trust intends to help the kidney failure patients by subsidizing the cost of  dialysis.
